On 11-12 February 2025, the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) hosted a workshop of the Cross-agency One Health Task Force, focusing on stakeholder engagement for implementing the One Health approach in Europe.

Meet Ines Cherif, a medical doctor with a specialisation in Preventive and Community Medicine from Tunisia. Over the past two years, she has worked as an assistant professor at the Pasteur Institute of Tunis and the Faculty of Medicine of Tunis. In September 2022, Ines started her MediPIET fellowship including a project focusing on tuberculosis surveillance in Tunisia, guided by the National Observatory of New and Emerging Diseases.

Considerable increases were seen in reported cases of syphilis and gonorrhoea in 2023, relative to 2022, and continues the increasing trend seen in 2022.

On 29–30 January 2025, a team of experts participated in a technical meeting in Montenegro to discuss the development of the national One Health roadmap on antimicrobial resistance (AMR).

The second EU Health Task Force (EUHTF) stakeholder meeting gathered representatives from EU/EEA Member States, EU agencies, the European Commission, and partner organisations including the World Health Organization (WHO), Global Outbreak Alert and Response Network (GOARN), Doctors Without Borders (MSF) and the International Federation of the Red Cross (IFRC) on 18-19 November 2024.

The second EU Health Task Force (EUHTF) stakeholder meeting gathered representatives from EU/EEA Member States, EU agencies, the European Commission, and partner organisations including the World Health Organization (WHO), Global Outbreak Alert and Response Network (GOARN), Doctors Without Borders (MSF) and the International Federation of the Red Cross (IFRC).
